For security reasons, your physical card is inactive while it’s in transit. Once your card arrives, you’ll need to activate it in your dashboard before you can begin using it.
How to activate your physical card
Follow these steps after you receive your card:
- Sign in to your dashboard.
- Click Manage Cards in the left-hand menu.
- Scroll down or search for the cardholder name associated with the physical card.
- Click View Details next to the card.
- In the pop-up window, click Activate.
Once activated, your physical card will be ready to use immediately.
Why activation is required
Activating your card helps keep your account secure:
- Cards remain inactive while in transit.
- Prevents unauthorized use if a card is lost or intercepted.
- Confirms the card was received by the intended cardholder.
Things to keep in mind
- Virtual cards can be used before your physical card arrives.
- If you don’t see the activation option, make sure you’re viewing the correct card.
- If your card is lost or doesn’t arrive, contact support and we’ll issue a replacement.
